How B vitamins work

Your body needs a range of B vitamins to turn food into cellular energy. They act as coenzymes in the Krebs cycle, the pathway cells use to make energy. Folate, B6 and B12 also drive methylation, which helps convert homocysteine into the amino acids methionine and cysteine.
